Adult Moderate Sedation Skill Verification

The Adult Moderate Skill Verification

The Adult Moderate Skill Verification utilizes the blended learning model or better known as “flipping the classroom” learning format. After completion of online didactic material, the student attends the 1.5-2 hour classroom skill verification where the didactic content is transitioned into assessment of a “live” patient, identification and reversal of common complications associated with sedation, and airway techniques lead by a National Sedation Center Instructor.  After completion and achieving a passing score both from the online exam and scoring of skills, the student achieves certification in Adult Moderate Sedation and is placed in a national primary source database for electronic verification of certification.
